A Costly Funeral

Following her husband’s funeral Ruby’s friend commented; ‘that, that was the most spectacular funeral she had ever been to, and that it must have cost a fortune.’

“Well” said Ruby in total, “I spent £30.0000.”

“WOW” said the friend “how ever did you come to spend that much?”

“Easy” said Ruby “the actual funeral cost £5,000.00,

Then I made a £5,000.00 donation to charity and then there was the memorial stone!”

“It must have been a monumental memorial stone to have cost £20.0000” said the friend.”

“Yes it was” said Ruby holding out her finger; “two & a half carats!”
